My Leap...;-)

I've been wanting to do a giveaway for quite some time and missed my first Blogiversary (February 29th)...so let's have some fun! I wish I could share with you something I've made, however, right now my plate is full. So for now, I put together six gifts that I would like to share and I tried to include a few things that everyone might enjoy. It is my way of thanking YOU for taking the time to swing by and say hi and see what I've been up to! The friendship, support and encouragement that you share with me... means so much! I know I don't post as often as I should or would like to, but I am always grateful to my friends that accept that and still swing by to see what I have to share when I do post. I am very grateful to have met the friends that I have through blogging...you are all very special ladies and are so talented...you all inspire me!!! And, a special thanks to Monica, because if it wasn't for her push...I would not have made the *leap* and I'd still be stitching...but in my own world!

I will accept comments until midnight (PST), next Saturday, June 20th. I will have my husband draw six names (first through sixth) out of a hat next Sunday, June 21st, and I will post the winners on Monday, the 22nd. After I post the names on my blog, I will contact you by email. The first person that is drawn will be able to choose what gift they would like...whomever is the second name drawn can choose what gift they would like, etc. The sixth person will have to accept the last gift available. Sound like fun???

So this is what you have to do to play:

1) You have to have a Blog.
2) See that *FOLLOWERS BOX* on the right hand side of my blog that I just added? It would be a *HUGE* boost to my morale if you would click the follow button and let me know that you are following me! To those that are...THANK YOU...to those that may...THANK YOU! I would like to host other giveaways, now and then, to those that are following my blog in the future!
3) Leave a comment on this post by midnight, Saturday, June 20th, and tell me three things you love to do in life when you aren't creating your art.
4) If you know I have your email address...great...but if you aren't sure that I do...please leave your email when you make a comment so that I can easily get in touch with you if your name is drawn! That's it!!!

So here are the six gifts:

1) Package of Princess Mirah's Batik Fabric Fat Quarters from Bali. NOTE: KATHY CHOSE GIFT #1...PRINCESS MIRAH'S BATIK FABRIC FAT QUARTERS!

Monica does a beautiful job hosting a party, it's a lot of fun and so rewarding!!!

I've been an anonymous follower for a while -- found your blog from another BJP blog. Your beading and fiber art projects are beautiful, but so are your photos!

Would love to be entered in your "leap." Three things I do when not creating: reading; spending time with family, friends and pets; gardening.

Hugs from another native!

three cheers for your first blogaversary!! ... I seriously love that both you and I have Miss Monica to thank for being here at all. :)

ok, how could I NOT play along?!? I already follow (and likely will follow you where ever you may go) ... so, three things outside of arting ... easy! (the fam goes without saying, so I'll offer three other things) ... 1) search for pretty little rocks & sharks teeth at Stump Pass, 2) meeting a girlfriend for a chai latte and a chat, 3) playing board games.

thanks for the fun giveaway!

Hi, I've been a follower since I found you. I'm glad Monica convinced you to join the cyber world because I enjoy your posts.

The most relaxing thing I do when not creating something, is to sit on the front porch or back yard and watch the wildlife that surround us.

No matter what time of the day, really no matter, I enjoy a quiet moment with a good cup of coffee.

And last would be reading the blogs I follow.

Well... hello, how could I not throw my name in the hat. You've included stuff from some of my very favorite people (Monica, Jen and Dottie). I'm not officially a stalker, I mean follower.

Okay, I remember when we first met through blogs and would you just look and how far you've come? I know I'm thankful (and better)for it and all the more inspired when I see what you're creating.

Six giveaways - you generous soul. So, three things I like to do when not creating art are... 1) Spending time with family playing games (trivia, baseball, board games, corn hole, Wii - you name it we are a very competitive bunch). 2) Traveling, especially as a volunteer, and learning about new places and different cultures. 3) A toss up between sitting outside and watching nature and spending time with friends - the best scenario would be to combine the two!

Hi Lisa, Thanks to Grace, I have linked up to your blog and am so looking forward to stalking, um, I mean following, you :)

Three things I love to do when not beading/knitting: hiking, walking my dog, gardening.

I too love oriental poppies. Funny story to share: Years ago when I was pregnant and my darling neighbor thought she would 'help' me weed my perennial garden. I get home from work and she lets me know she got rid to that huge pricker push that was growing in the middle of my garden. Hmm? pricker push, what pricker push? I went back to the bed to see what it was, only to discover it was my beloved poppies. I was very sad, but I graciously let her know that it was actually a plant. She was mortified! We laugh about it still.

My email is: beadingheartart@aol.com

What a generous offer! I think the party is here. Three things that I do when not doing art are:
play with my dogs,
visit with my grandkids and go out to eat.
Art takes up most of my time though. My email is available through my profile. Hope you are having fun with this. I have when I have done it.

Dang it!! I visit you all the time and you know...... you haven't been the most reliable poster lately - so I fell asleep at the wheel and didn't come by and look what happened. You know - I can't believe I missed this scrumptous giveaway. Love love love those batiks and goodies.
Well I'm gonna tell you three things I love to do when not creating....
1. Cuddling - with Gizmo, Blaise or Sabrina;
