The Pink Artist Block Party Has Begun...

The Pink Artist Block Party has officially begun! Monica has lovingly stitched and finished the 10" x 10" block art pieces into the most beautiful and amazing Pink Artist Quilt. Talk about heart art...this quilt exudes LOVE from the HEARTS of so many artists from around the world. Monica's vision from the beginning of this project brought so many artists together to help raise money for breast cancer research. This is the finale of two wonderful and fun years of the Pink Artist Project. It's time for all of us to donate what we can and raise even more money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It has been such an honor to be a part of this project and do something.

To learn the specifics and see the gorgeous art quilt and other beautiful pieces of art in the prize wheel...go HERE and visit Monica's blog post about the event. You could possibly win the art quilt or other art prizes donated by *Pink* friends by helping to raise funds for breast cancer research. Every $10 donation you send...your name will be entered into the art drawing twice!

I am offering a sunflower brooch/pendant for the drawing. It is a Czech glass button that is surrounded with vintage topaz AB beads, vintage black beads and 2 mm Swarovski crystal copper beads. It is approximately 1-1/2" diameter.

I have included a copy of the flyer for the Block Party 2009. The drawing will be held on October 15, 2009. Please give what you can to help save lives and end breast cancer forever.

The summer days are flying by and I can't believe it's August already. I hope you are all doing well! See you soon! ~Lisa
